Fall Cohort refund and cancellation policy

This policy covers new purchases of Building an Assessment System, Fall 2026, presented by Richard Burnett under the Arketype brand. The cohort begins October 9, 2026. Enrollment costs $799 USD, paid once.

If you need to cancel

Email richard@arketypehq.com by October 2, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern to request a full refund. Include the name and email used at checkout. The time we receive your request determines whether it meets the deadline, even if we respond later.

After that deadline, enrollment is ordinarily nonrefundable because your place has been reserved in a limited group. Missing a session or choosing not to complete the work does not create a refund entitlement. Recordings and recaps are included to support participants who miss a live session. The schedule protections below and any rights provided by applicable law still apply.

Transferring your place

Before the first session begins, you may ask us to transfer your place once, without a transfer fee, to another adult coach. Email us the proposed replacement’s name and email. We must confirm the transfer and the replacement must accept the enrollment terms. Please do not share your account or private enrollment link as a substitute for a confirmed transfer.

If the schedule changes or we cancel

Friday teaching sessions and optional Sunday Table Talks are planned. Exact session times have not yet been announced. If the announced times do not work for you, or we change the cohort start date, you may request a full refund within seven calendar days of that announcement and before the first session begins, even if the ordinary cancellation deadline has passed.

If we cancel the cohort before it begins, we will refund the full cohort fee. If we permanently stop the cohort after it begins and cannot provide the remaining promised instruction, we will offer a refund proportionate to the undelivered Friday teaching sessions. An optional Table Talk change alone does not count as cancellation of the cohort.

If an individual session must be rescheduled, we will notify participants and provide a replacement session or equivalent instruction and recording. Contact us if a material change prevents you from participating so we can resolve it fairly.

How refunds work

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. We aim to submit approved refunds within five business days. Your bank or card provider determines when the credit appears. A full refund includes the full $799 cohort fee, with no processing-fee deduction. Third party services purchased separately are governed by their own providers’ policies.

Access after a refund or transfer

When we issue a full refund or confirm a seat transfer, your original Fall enrollment ends. You lose access provided by that enrollment, including live sessions, the Fall member workspace, recordings, recaps, curriculum, reference library, discussion space and cohort-provided build tools. Access ends when we issue the refund, even if your bank has not yet posted the credit, or when we confirm the transfer.

You retain ownership and control of your independently created work, repository, database and third party accounts. A refund or transfer does not affect access you hold through a separate Summer Cohort enrollment or another purchase. A partial refund for undelivered instruction does not by itself revoke access to materials already delivered.

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
