Fall Cohort enrollment terms

Your enrollment

Building an Assessment System, Fall 2026 is a six-week educational cohort presented by Richard Burnett under the Arketype brand. The cohort begins October 9, 2026. The price is $799 USD, paid once, with no automatic renewal. Enrollment is limited to 30 coaches. A waitlist invitation gives early access to purchase; it does not reserve a paid place. Your place is confirmed after successful payment and enrollment confirmation.

Friday sessions provide teaching, guided building and critique. Sunday Table Talks are optional. Exact session times will be announced. Schedule-related refund rights are described in the accompanying refund and cancellation policy.

What is included

Your enrollment includes live cohort instruction, recordings and recaps, curriculum and reference materials, and the cohort discussion space. During the first three weeks you develop an Intake Blueprint, Intel Ruleset and Insight Decision Spec. During the remaining weeks you work toward a functioning assessment application using your own repository, database and accounts.

The reference library and cohort discussion space remain available after the six weeks. Enrollment does not include indefinite individual consulting, managed hosting, or ongoing custom software development. Any future change to continued access will be communicated in advance with a practical opportunity to preserve your own work and permitted materials.

Tools, costs and outcomes

You are responsible for a suitable computer, internet connection, and any third party accounts needed for your build. Separately purchased software subscriptions, usage charges, domains and hosting are not included in the cohort fee unless expressly stated. We will explain required tools and paid options before asking you to purchase them. Third party services have their own terms and privacy practices.

The cohort supplies instruction, guidance and feedback. Completing and operating your application requires your participation, testing and decisions. We do not guarantee a particular business outcome, athletic result, or production-ready application regardless of participation. Assessment and software outputs require your professional review.

Your work and cohort materials

You retain ownership of the original content, configurations and code you create, subject to any third party licenses. Your repository, database and service accounts remain under your control. We do not acquire ownership of your application because you participate.

You may use the provided teaching materials and templates in your own coaching work and application, subject to any specifically identified third party license. You may not resell or publicly distribute the cohort recordings or complete curriculum, or share paid member access. Sharing your work in the cohort permits us and fellow participants to view and discuss it for teaching and feedback; it is not permission to use it in public marketing.

Recordings and participation

Live teaching sessions and Table Talks may be recorded for enrolled participants. A recording may include your name, voice, video, chat messages, questions and shared screen. We will identify recorded sessions. You may keep your camera off and submit questions privately if you prefer not to appear. Contact us before a session if you need another way to participate.

Public use of your identifiable image, work or testimonial requires separate permission. Joining the cohort is not a blanket promotional release.

Treat participants respectfully. Do not share another participant’s private work or personal information outside the group without permission. We may restrict participation to address harassment, unauthorized access or serious privacy violations. We will explain the reason and, where practical, give an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any fee remedy will reflect the circumstances and applicable law rather than an automatic forfeiture rule.

Athlete information and professional responsibility

Use fictional or appropriately de-identified examples in shared discussions, recordings and demonstrations. Do not upload identifiable athlete records, health information, dates of birth, or information about minors into shared cohort spaces. Keep operational athlete records in systems you control with appropriate permissions and safeguards.

You are responsible for having authority to collect and use any real data in your own application, and for reviewing its access controls before use. The cohort is education for adult coaches, not medical care, legal advice, or a certification of your application’s regulatory compliance. Training and assessment decisions remain your professional responsibility.

Policies and contact

The accompanying refund and cancellation policy governs cancellations, transfers and schedule remedies. Issuing a full refund or confirming a seat transfer ends the original participant’s Fall enrollment and its member access, including sessions, recordings, curriculum, discussion and cohort-provided build tools. Independently owned work and accounts, and access from a separate Summer enrollment or another purchase, remain unaffected. The cohort privacy notice explains information handling. These Fall terms do not replace terms applicable to an earlier Summer enrollment. Changes will not retroactively reduce the rights attached to your purchase.
